The Tomato ‘Minibel’ seedlings are ready to be potted on to their individual pots, and head towards their next growing stage.
Category: Fruit
I buy a lot of fruit as part of my ‘eat a rainbow‘ approach to food. I love fresh Blueberries and Raspberries in a bowl of porridge, I enjoy a few Strawberries, and of course Tomatoes bolster my favourite savoury dishes, with Aubergine acting as a perfect substitute for carb-heavy pasta. This is why it is important for me to try to grow as many fruits as I can – it all helps to provide delicious homegrown food – reducing my food miles, avoids disappointment of buying fruit that only lasts a day at home before it needs throwing out, and saves me a bit of cash in the process.
