Minibels – First Crop of Tomatoes

First crop of tomatoes in a bowl

After months of battling the elements, I finally harvested my first Tomato ‘Minibel’. It took unrelenting sunshine and gusts of wind to push these plants out horizontal in their pots – a feat which did not stop them from producing bright green tomatoes!

The effort paid off as I successfully picked three full specimens before moving the plants into a sunnier spot; with one more tomato almost ready for picking once any further bouts of harsh weather have died down.

My Courgette ‘Black Beauty’ seeded back in April has also proven resilient against Mother Nature’s wrath, so hopefully these veggies will soon be ripe enough to enjoy all summer long!
